Wirotirta and Aryana, two young Pacu Jalur performers, were filled with joy as they participated in the Independence Day celebrations at Merdeka Palace, commemorating Indonesia’s 80th anniversary. Their beaming smiles never faded, especially when they had the opportunity to perform before President Prabowo Subianto. Dressed in vibrant green traditional Malay attire, the children’s synchronized and energetic movements captivated the audience, bringing the pride of regional culture to the national stage. The cheers and applause from the crowd added to the festive spirit of the celebration at the palace grounds.
The children expressed their pride and gratitude for the chance to shake hands with the President, their voices brimming with enthusiasm.
