The atmosphere was filled with excitement at the Annual Session of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly as attendees stood in applaud after a video showcasing President Prabowo Subianto’s achievements was played. The video, which lasted eight minutes, outlined the successful implementation of priority programs during Prabowo’s 10 months in office since October 2024. Testimonials from the public expressing appreciation for initiatives such as the Free Nutritious Meals program and the People’s School deeply moved some members of the audience.
After the video presentation, House Speaker Puan Maharani invited President Prabowo to deliver his State Address. Prabowo, respecting the MPR members and guests, then made his way to the podium to begin his speech at the 2025 Annual Session, bowing once more to legislators before speaking. Later in the day, he is scheduled to present his introductory remarks on the Draft State Budget for Fiscal Year 2026, accompanied by the Financial Note and supporting documents.
