Accompanied by the relatives and family of Kwik Kian Gie, President Prabowo solemnly honored the deceased in the chamber where he lay in repose. Kwik, a prominent advocate of Pancasila-based economics, passed away at the age of 90 on Monday evening. President Prabowo expressed his condolences, highlighting Kwik’s significant contributions to the nation and his dedication to the Pancasila economy. Prabowo shared a personal connection with Kwik, describing him as a friend and mentor who provided valuable insights and advice over the years. Despite his passing, Kwik remained actively engaged, continuing to offer suggestions and thoughts to the President. Indonesia has lost a remarkable figure, and President Prabowo expressed gratitude for the wisdom and guidance Kwik provided.
