Joe Station, band rock blues from the city of Medan has released their latest single titled “Revolution”. Produced by Adrian Timothy at Hosly Studio, the single “Revolution” is the first song from Joe Station that uses English lyrics.
“Revolution” is a spirited song. Wrapped in a rocking sound, booming vocals, and fast tempo, this song is their effort to ignite the spirit of their listeners.
“It is not uncommon for us to be faced with situations between moving forward and backward, by listening to our latest work, hopefully it can make us brave to make big decisions and bear sweet fruit,” said the members of Joe Station.
Created by Okta and Ijen, “Revolution” depicts the struggle in facing life. Revolution, which means rapid change, sometimes makes the path of life seem frightening. The uncertainty that stretches before us sometimes makes us lack confidence and enthusiasm in living life.
“This song is a spark to increase enthusiasm and confidence and courage because togetherness can make us strong and become the winner,” they added.
To complement the message they want to convey, Joe Station entrusted the artwork development of this single to Aga Depresion, who is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band Depresi Demon from Medan. With the concept of “Firm” and “Powerful”, Aga reflects both with a design concept featuring a guitar and a Police hat, which is the hallmark of Joe Station, as well as fire effects symbolizing the spirit of struggle.
Formed in 2020, Joe Station is a music unit initiated by Yusuf and Ijen when they were in the same community, the “Medan Blues Society”. Along the way, Yusuf chose to take a hiatus from the music world and Joe Station was continued by Ijen and other colleagues.
Driven by Ijen (vocals), Okta (guitar), Jheriko (keyboard), and Fattah (bass). Joe Station has released one mini album titled Geloras Rasa in 2021 and the single “Tino” in 2023, both produced by Giffarie Ownie with Frogballs Records.
